Sanyo Components Direct is a sub division of Sanyo Semiconductor USA specializing in, and selling, laser Diodes directly to businesses. They recently decided to expand their operation to the web and chose Miva Merchant because of its enterprise level capabilities and ability to scale. Currently, they only sell a limited number of laser diodes but they plan to expand and sell their entire catalog of semiconductors and components online. We were given the task to create a simple but elegant site which breaks the mold of the plain, and sometimes boring, engineering and technically-focused websites. They wanted something which was easy on the eyes and also tied in the themes of nature and children throughout.

Quintessentially English is a UK based company which sells organic handmade beauty products, alternative medicines and home & garden gifts. They came to us with a broken Miva 4 site which had significant CSS and formatting errors. We upgraded them to Miva 5.5 and recreated their existing look and feel, while fixing all their errors. They now have a fully functional Miva 5 store which is ready to take advantage of all the new Miva Merchant 5.5 features.

Pet Net Direct is an online pet food and supply store based in New York City that has used Miva Merchant 4 for a number of years. While they really like the software, they were working with an ineffective web developer and no one to turn to for edits and Maintenance. We came in and re-created their current website with the new Miva Merchant 5.5. Because of the size of their existing Miva Merchant 4 store and the customizations they had, we were presented with a considerable challenge. However, the end result is a high end, robust Miva 5.5 website with a ton of new features and the ability to expand as big as their business can grow. The whole site-build and transfer was done with no downtime to their live store, which was a high priority. We also gave them an ongoing monthly maintenance plan so now they always have someone to turn to for help and support.

Overstocked Jewels sells replica designer jewelry. They were looking to change shopping carts and chose Miva Merchant for its flexibility and ease of customization. We took their current design and functionality and recreated it exactly within Miva Merchant. They are now taking advantage of the power for Miva Merchant with features like Category Sorting, Wish List, Tell-a-Friend, and Inventory Tracking.

A seller of garden tools and supplies online, Horizons Ltd came to us with a limited budget and wanted to see what we could do to spice up their existing design. They were a perfect client for our website skins. We let them choose a skin we already had created and we customized the colors and header to match their site and incorporate their logo. The end result is a great looking site which will definitely help increase sales.

Melissa Joy Manning sells custom high end jewelry online. We gave then a complete site makeover as well as added some great e-commerce features which make the site easy to use and navigate. This includes a custom navigation, breadcrumbs, pagination, multiple product views, related images, add to wish list, and email to a friend features.

Rusty’s Offroad designs and builds custom off-road components for the Jeep line of vehicles. They came to Miva Merchant Design Services to implement a new, more attractive and more functional design and layout for their Miva 5 store. The new layout really showcases the power and flexibility of Miva Merchant. Their new site not only looks great, but products are easier to find and the overall end user experience is much better.

Romantic Jewelry is a Hawaiian based jewelry company whose floral designs are influenced by the beautiful plants and flowers of the Hawaiian Islands. We provided them with a full custom Miva 5 store with some great e-commerce features like the global mini basket, custom navigation structure, and related items feature. They were also very concerned with SEO, so in the building process we incorporated SEO best practices such as page unique page titles, Meta tags, and image alt tags.

Bayview is a San Jose based wholesaler serving the Northern California areas. We provided them with a great looking site which allows their customers to research and buy their products online in bulk. We added special features where customers must login before making a purchase and a minimum order before checking out.
